The Q-Chain® Surface Scanner is a measuring machine with which even flat test pieces (usually painted sheets or plates) can be recorded spatially resolved in a predefined measuring grid by various standard measuring devices and statistically evaluated by integrated software.

The measuring instruments used in the standard version are hand-held measuring instruments, which are externally triggered directly by integration in the measuring machines and the measured values ​​are read out.

The use of the Q-Chain® Surface Scanner Automatic is versatile. It is possible to measure and evaluate specimens for pure color measurements (eg color tone templates) or even for pure layer thickness measurements (eg spray pattern analyzes).
