The Inside Drum Friction Tester evaluates the friction characteristics of a test piece on a road surface formed inside a rotating drum.The test piece is made to contact the drum at a specified load and applied a slip ratio.The torque applied to the sample when a test is conducted under such conditions is used to measure the friction force. The drum surface can be used to form a simulated ice,wet,or dry road surface conditions.
