Motorola Standards Wear Tester
The RCA Abrasion Wear Tester is the specified wear tester for meeting the standards and tests required by many major manufacturers, including Motorola Standards, Panasonic Standards, GE Standards, PPG Standards, and many more. In many cases, these manufacturers specific our Norman Tool RCA Abrasion Wear Tester by name or the 7-IBB-CC model number. Other manufacturers are making our wear tester their standard every day, due to its unique testing method, history, reputation and accuracy. In addition to testing very small printed or coated surface points, we can also test on curved and non-uniform surfaces. Our wear testers are used to test surfaces for resistance to abrasion and wear. Typically used on painted or plated organic finishes, foil, and inked key pad lettering. This tester is widely used as a standard for many silicone key pad and membrane switch manufacturers. This abrader is used as a standard to the auto, appliance, cell phone, plastics, and coating industries. It uses an inexpensive roll of throw away abrasion paper. All build-up error is eliminated and consistent readings are easily obtained.
