The DFP 406 is a compact Dot and Density measuring instrument. It provides both reflection (plate) and transmission (film) dot measurements using Yule-Nielsen easy to program N correction factor. With high accuracy it measures the dot area of lithographic plates regardless of graining, contrast and color because of sophisticated multidirectional reading optical system, detector sensitivity and high resolution: unique 10.000 divisions between the printing and the non-printing parts of the surface.
