Michigan State University Grinder and Feeder System
The Michigan State University iWall system was installed in 2008 as part of the GLBRC (Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Centre). The system takes any freeze-dried plant material, grinds the material into a very fine powder destroying the cell walls and then dispenses 2mg into output vials for analysis. The system is capable of processing 300 plant samples in 24 hours.
