After the success of the first Labman system to be installed at York University (YUFF Funnel Feeder System), CNAP decided to upgrade their capabilities with a system to grind and dispense biomass to well plates. The bench mounted system has similar functionality to other Labman biomass preparation systems but is simplified to suit CNAP’s requirement. Operators load a maximum of 96, 2ml input vials and one well plate. The system grinds and subsequently dispensed the biomass into individual wells within a plate.
